I was trying to find the best product to clean the egr valve on my VW tdi. Thanks

If you’re removing the EGR valve to clean it, then we recommend cleaning it out with Berryman B-12 Chemtool Carburetor, Choke & Throttle Body Cleaner (part #0117).  If you’re leaving the EGR valve on the car, we recommend running Berryman Diesel Injector Cleaner (part #0518) at ½ fl oz/gallon of fuel.  If you’re car holds 15 gallons, then you could use half of the can in one full tank and check the EGR valve.  If necessary, you could run the other half of the can in the very next tank.
