I'm going to be replacing my intake manifold 2016 chevy 5.3l, can I use this to spray directly onto the intake valves for a carbon cleaner presoak & cleaner for manual cleaning with brushes along with your carb and choke cleaner? I plan removing the spark plugs and rotating the engine a few times to prevent a hydro-lock condition.

Berryman INTAKE VALVE & COMBUSTION CHAMBER CLEANER (part #2611) is not a good fit for the application you’re describing. I would recommend using a carburetor cleaner like Berryman B-12 CHEMTOOL CARBURETOR, CHOKE & THROTTLE BODY CLEANER (part #0117 or Part #0120). That product is pretty fast-drying, though, so you might be better served using a soft cloth to wipe the valves down before the cleaner dries. Otherwise, using the 2611 kit as-designed once you have the motor back together might be a good course of action as a “polishing” step.
