Yes, applying Berryman Tire Seal-R is that simple! Just deflate the tire and remove the valve core using the cap/tool supplied with the product. Then, put the retractable fill tube over the valve stem and squeeze in the prescribed amount. (The standard formula for fluid ounces is width of tire X height of tire X 0.04, but slow-moving vehicles like tractors or mowers require double the concentration.) After that, just screw the valve core back in and air up the tire according the manufacturer’s recommendation.
Please understand that, while it has been successfully used over the road, we generally do not recommend Tire Seal-R for highway use due to the possibility of exacerbating imbalanced wheels, although in a properly balanced tire Tire Seal-R can generally be used without issue. However, if a wheel weight gets knocked off or the tire needs to be rebalanced for any reason, the Tire Seal-R will need to be removed before the wheel can be properly balanced.
