Smog check a car with B-12 Chemtool cleaner in the fuel a good idea? Just poured some in my car and almost got it tested but had a feeling it wouldn't pass.

If the car is borderline to pass an emissions test, the use B-12 Chemtool Carburetor, Fuel System and Injector Cleaner (part #0116) may actually help through its supply of clean-burning, oxygenated solvents. Sometimes that’s just not enough, though. In such cases, you might consider our Emissions Pass Protection (part #0212) for lowering emissions if the car is mechanically sound but perhaps just needs a mild to moderate cleaning. However, if your fuel system and/or engine are too dirty, then you will need a stronger additive like our B-12 Chemtool Total Fuel System Clean-Up (part #2616) and/or our B-12 Chemtool Total Combustion System Cleaner (part #2610), depending on your area(s) of need.
Just got my car smog checked and it passed! I'll definitely be using B-12 Chemtool again. Thanks!
I have a followup question, if I may:
Is the Total Fuel System Clean-Up just a stronger version of the Emission Pass Protection, or do they have distinctly different uses? If a car needed a mild to moderate cleaning and was near smog test time, would there be any reason that the Emissions Pass Protection would be preferable to the Total Fuel System Clean-Up?
