Can the B12 Chemtool cause the check engine light to come on? It wasnt on until I used the additive with a full tank of gas.

It’s possible for the use of Berryman B-12 Chemtool Fuel Injector Cleaner (part #0116) to temporarily trip the CEL in instances of severe buildup from faulty fuel system componentry and/or neglected maintenance.  This happens when then product cleans enough deposits so quickly that the ECU gets a little confused with what the sensors are seeing.  Once the deposits are burned up and no longer in the system, the ECU straightens itself out and clears the CEL.
