I have been using Berryman's B12 to clean my engine. I pour in a half bottle into the crankcase, run it for 15 minutes, then drain it c0mpletely, then complete my oil change. But I just bought a brand new 2018 Toyota Rav4 and it uses 0W-20 synthetic oil this is thin oil. My question is, should I continue this process with this new close tolerance engine, or not? The problem with tolerances comes into play when an older engine with lots of sludge and varnish in the crankcase gets cleaned. If you apply your same method to the new Rav4 from the beginning, changing tolerances will not be a concern.
