Berryman offers two varieties of Chem-Dip. Our Professional Chem-Dip in the 5-gallon bucket (part #0905) is very effective on gum, varnish, and hard carbon, but it’s not safe on many plastic, rubber, and painted parts components. For this reason, it is not a good fit for a circulating parts washer. Our other immersion cleaner is Chem-Dip in the 1-gallon paint can (part #0996). It is safe on most plastic, rubber, and painted parts and would generally be compatible with parts washers that do not have aluminum-based alloys present.
