Yes, Berryman B-12 Chemtool Fuel Injector Cleaner (part #0116) is safe for all gasoline powered engines.  Regarding, Berryman Total Fuel System Clean-Up (part #2616), this is our best detergent-based fuel additive and will “deep clean” injectors, carburetors, intake valves (in non-GDI engines), and combustion chambers. Then regular use of 0116 helps maintain the injectors and intake valves (again, in non-GDI engines).  Combustion chambers are another story, so that’s why it’s still important to use a detergent-based additive strong enough to clean combustion chambers from time to time. 2616 offers fuel stabilization, too, so it’s ideal for use in small engines that only get used occasionally and get stored during the off-season.  Think lawn mowers/tractors, string trimmers, snow blowers, jet skis, etc.  For this reason, I personally recommend 2616 for continuous use in these applications.  It will constantly deep clean, it will stabilize gasoline, and it will already be present in the entire system after seasonal storage.  It’s a win-win-win. 

Thank you for the quick reply. I saw a post from 2015 that said you should use it prior to an oil change for: 0116 b-12.  Would that still apply?   I am not due for an oil change for awhile. I may use half a bottle.  Please advise.
