I'm working on an old motorcycle that has been sitting for more then forty years with old gas in the tank. Can I use this in the tank to clean out the old gas varnish left inside?

Good morning. Neither Chem-Dip product we offer is not suitable for that application. Instead, consider using Berryman B-12 Chemtool Fuel Injector Cleaner (part #s 0101 and 0116) to dissolve the varnish. That said, if you cannot scrape, blast, or otherwise mechanically remove a significant portion of the varnish first, it may be quite a challenge to clean up and will likely require multiple applications.
