If your carburetor has a lot of buildup on the outside, spray or wipe it down first for maximum longevity of the parts dip. If your carb is aluminum or an aluminum alloy, soak it in Berryman Chem-Dip Carburetor and Parts Cleaner (part #0996) for about half an hour and check the progress. Repeat if necessary, but do not exceed more than about 4 hours total soak time. When clean, rinse with warm water and blow dry with an air nozzle or let air dry before reassembling and reinstalling.
