B-12 Chemtool is safe on all metal throttle bodies, but be careful not to spray it on any painted or plastic surfaces. Also, do not spray too much in/on the TB all at once, especially if the chainsaw runs on a fuel/oil mixture. Instead, try using a number of short bursts of no more than ½ second apiece. This will help keep the engine running and avoid reducing the lubricity too much.
