I purchased a 5 gallon container of Chem-Dip several years back and the metal bucket developed several pin hole leaks near the top of the solution. I poured the contents into a 5 gallon plastic bucket and I started wondering if the product will eventually "eat" its way through the plastic? If so, any recommendations for another method of storage? Thank you.

Steel is the only suitable material for storage. If you can find a 5-gallon, open-head steel bucket with a lid that includes a gasket, that should work for quite a while. Please be sure to store the product on wood, cardboard, or plastic in order to avoid compromising the container.
