I love your product and was wondering if it was safe to dip my Craftsman hand tools (socket wrenches, sockets, bits, etc).

Berryman offers two varieties of Chem-Dip. Our Chem-Dip in the 1-gallon paint can (part #0996) is safe on most plastic, rubber, and painted parts but extended soak times can darken aluminum and aluminum alloys. Our other immersion cleaner is Professional Chem-Dip in the 5-gallon bucket (part #0905). It is safe on all metal parts but can affect some plastic, rubber, and painted parts components.
If you’re exclusively cleaning steel alloys, then it doesn’t matter; however, if you want to soak screwdrivers, nutdrivers, pliers, etc. with handles or grips made of plastic or rubber, your best bet would be the 0996.
