The answer depends on which Chem-Dip product you are referring to.
None of our products have been formulated for or tested in ultrasonic applications. However, it is possible that Berryman Chem-Dip Carburetor Parts Cleaner (part #0996) may be suitable as long as the temperature does not exceed about 100°F and the duration is relatively short.
On the other hand, because of the very low boiling point of that product (104°F) coupled with the health hazards of methylene chloride, Berryman Chem-Dip Professional Parts Cleaner (part #0905 & part #0901) is not suitable for use with ultrasonic cleaners or when heated over about 90°F or so. Additionally, anything that serves to mix the top and bottom layers will decrease the overall effectiveness of the product until those layers can fully separate again.
