Assuming you are referring to Berryman Chem-Dip Carburetor Parts Cleaner (part #0996), which is our consumer size product in the 1 gallon paint style can, you should be able to open the can the same way you would open a can of paint (using either a paint can tool or even a flat head screwdriver).
