Can I dip a small block, just the block-no heads in a large enough container with enough chemdip? Is it safe? Will it work to clean the block thou roughly?

If you can find an appropriately-sized, sealable, metal container, then Berryman Professional Chem-Dip Carburetor & Parts Cleaner (part #0905) will thoroughly clean aluminum and steel blocks. Please note that if the block has been painted, the finish will likely be affected.
