Which additive is suitable for a diesel car's injection system cleaning, equipped with diesel particulate filter? Also, which one is proposed as a preventative measure and how often to use it? (Location: Europe)

If you're only looking for cleaning and lubricity (as opposed to a combination cetane booster or cold-flow improver, too), then the best product for that application is Berryman DIESEL INJECTOR CLEANER (part #0518), which offers one-tank cleanup of both traditional and high-pressure common rail injection systems as well as a lubricity additive for longer fuel pump and fuel injector life. Regarding frequency of use, a good rule of thumb is to use the product every time you change the oil. However, you may certainly use 0518 more frequently if warranted.
