I’m not sure that one single product will handle all your lubrication needs but we make two that would be ideal for your problem application. Our Total Lube, part #0612 has very unique properties, which address several of your concerns. Cables for farm and agricultural equipment are prone to rust due to water penetration through the outer casing. Total Lube has excellent penetration properties, which help displace moisture and provide the necessary barrier to retard further oxidation. For excellent barrier protection and lubrication of levers, chains and sprockets, I would suggest our White Lithium Grease, part #2016. This product has an excellent ‘staying power’, which makes it cling well to moving parts and creates a visible barrier to moisture and dirt. With an effective operating range of -20 degrees F. to +300 degrees F., general weather conditions would have no effect on this product. Berryman White Lithium Grease is widely used on agricultural equipment and is USDA approved.
