Yes, when used at the proper treatment ration of 1 oz/gallon, Berryman B-12 Chemtool Fuel System Cleaner (part #0116) is very effective in all gasoline engines. Part #0116 is an excellent preventive maintenance product for fuel injectors, carburetors, and intake valves. It should be used every third fill up. However, if your vehicle has high mileage, and has not been treated with a fuel additive in the past (or in over 10-15,000 miles), you might consider B-12 Chemtool High Mileage Fuel Treatment (part #7516). It is intended for vehicles exceeding 60,000 miles and will thoroughly clean your fuel injectors, intake valves, and combustion chambers. Ideally, you would follow up that treatment with part #0116 about every third tank. However, if your vehicle isn’t showing symptoms, such as hard starting, rough idle, or sluggish acceleration, than you can probably just repeat the 7516 every 10-15,000 miles.
