The short answer is "Yes, the product is safe on gas turbos." We did testing on numerous turbocharged and naturally-aspirated PFI and GDI vehicles by introducing the product at the front of the throttle body (under the air boot) using the bent yellow straw and had great success. One thing that we weren’t comfortable trying to tackle in the instructions was the fact that 4-cylinder turbocharged engines are generally able to make use of the gold, six-sided restrictor that is otherwise reserved only for 6-cylinder engines and above. Because of the ECU’s ability to compensate for higher fuel consumption by forcing more air into the combustion chambers, even small 4-cylinder turbo engines performed well with the high-flow restrictor.
