put a can of B12 in my motorcycle's tank which won't run(after 9 months sitting) with about a gallon of regular gas. How long before it will work thru the carb?

That is quite a high concentration for B-12 Chemtool Fuel System Cleaner (part #0116). For on-road applications, the maximum permissible concentration is 1 oz/gallon of gasoline (per EPA regulations). For off-road usage, we recommend using no more than 4 oz/gallon.
As for how long it takes to get to the carburetor, the short answer is "not long." In reality, though, it all depends on how well the additive mixed into the fuel, how long your fuel line is, how well/how long the engine runs, etc. If you want to deliver more B-12 Chemtool to the carburetor for use as a gasoline engine starting fluid, for instance, you can also try the aerosol version (part #s 0110 or 0110C)
