Can I use chem dip on my idle air intake valve for a dodge dakota without harming the sensor. recommended cleaning is carb cleaner and wire brush.

Your best bet for cleaning the IAC valve is soaking it in B-12 Chemtool Fuel Treatment (part #0116). Alternatively, if you have access inside the body of the valve, you could also gently spray it out with B-12 Chemtool Carburetor, Choke & Throttle Body Cleaner (part #0113, #0117 or #0120).
