Your product has come up a lot as I've been searching Scion forums for a solution to my 2009 Scion XB consuming an excessive amount of oil. She's going through a quart nearly every 300 miles. Most people in the forums mentioned starting the car before putting the spark plugs back in after it's been soaking for a couple of hours in order to spread the cleaner around. Is this safe to do? Also, your site mentions using an air compressor to blow down into the cylinders...I don't have a compressor. Do you know if it's safe or effective to use canned compressed air for this?
Lastly, is it necessary to change oil after doing a piston soak? All the forums mention changing your oil right after doing this procedure...happy to do so if it's necessary, but I did change my oil just over a week ago, so it's already been done recently.

The oil should be changed if you have much leakdown. However, a little won’t hurt; it will simply deplete the amount of B-12 Chemtool you have in the cylinder still. As long as the liquid level stays above the entire piston, then you should remain in good shape.
As far as blowing air into the cylinder, that is intended to splash the liquid around. This can be accomplished using compressed air or a “duster”—whatever is convenient. Just be cautious not splash the B-12 out of the combustion chamber as it can damage paint.
Once you’ve completed the soak and removed as much of the liquid as reasonably possible, you can cover the cylinder head(s) and turn the engine over to force the remaining liquid out.
After putting the plugs back in and getting everything back where it goes, you can run the engine for few minutes to get the oil warm. If you check its condition and it looks dirty, then you had leakdown and probably need to change the oil and filter soon (or immediately if it’s especially dirty). If it has stayed clean, there’s no need to do another change already.
