I think my vehicle had bad gas in, I left only 1-2 gallons in it. Added fresh gas and a bottle of Chemtool, will this help eliminate the bad gas misfire issue?

Yes, Berryman part #0116 will help, but if the problem is severe enough, you'll likely need something even stronger, such as Berryman part #2616, which will thoroughly clean the fuel pump, fuel injectors, intake valves, and combustion chambers.
