Can chemdip 0996 be used to clean a plastic ATV gas tank?

Berryman Chem-Dip Carburetor & Parts Cleaner (part #0996) is fully compatible with all types of plastic. However, it is water-based so you’ll have to be certain you’ve thoroughly removed all traces of the product so you do not contaminate the fuel. Alternatively, you can try using B-12 Chemtool Carburetor, Choke & Throttle Body Cleaner (part #0117 or #0117C) to spray it out or B-12 Chemtool Fuel System Cleaner (part #0116) to soak it.
