No, you do not necessarily need to change your oil after applying the 3-step kit. I would recommend getting your emissions testing done after you’ve used about ½ to ¾ of the tank container the Step 3 fuel additive. If you have trouble passing the test and especially if your NOx is high, you might consider using our Emissions Pass Protection (part #0212). Thanks and good luck!
