Just got a 5 gal can and optional parts cleaning basket, and dipped my first parts in it. Noticed a jelly like substance on bottom of basket and parts when I removed from bucket. Is this normal? Does the bucket need to be stirred/mixed thoroughly before use? Just curious. I will say the parts came out "squeaky" clean in about 20 -30minutes!

Thank you for your purchase of Berryman Professional Chem-Dip Carburetor & Parts Cleaner (part #0905). Due to the aggressive nature of the product, the container’s corrosion-resistant liner often will soften and fall to the bottom of the can. Many customers who use the dip basket never notice this as the liner just sits on the bottom of the can. Either way, it is an aesthetic matter that does not affect the performance of the product.
As for stirring/mixing, 0905 should never be intentionally shaken, stirred, mixed, agitated, or aerated; instead, the basket should always be gently raised and lowered in order to keep the two phases of the product well-separated. Thanks again for your interest in Berryman!
