is it safe to run Chem Dip through my carburetor and engine while its idling? i have a funnel with hose i can hook up to my carb intake to pour carb cleaner through my engine. would it be safe to do this with Chem Dip? i don't have the tools to take my carb off nor the money for labor to pay someone else

No, neither version of our Chem-Dip (part #0905 & #0996) can be safely utilized how you describe. Instead, you will need to either use an aerosol cleaner or a fuel additive. For a spray cleaner, try Berryman B-12 Chemtool Carburetor, Choke & Throttle Body Cleaner (part #0117 or #0117C). Alternatively, Berryman makes several fuel additives that are capable of thoroughly cleaning dirty carburetors. In order of increasing strength, these additives are B-12 Chemtool Gas Treatment Carb Cleaner (part #0112), B-12 Chemtool Fuel Injector Cleaner (part #1112), B-12 Chemtool Concentrated Intake Valve & Injector Cleaner (part #3012), and B-12 Chemtool Total Fuel System Clean-Up (part #2616).
