They are completely different types of products. B-12 Chemtool Fuel System Cleaner (part #0116) is 100% strong solvent and does not contain petroleum oils or aliphatic distillates like Seafoam Motor Treatment does. Quite simply, 0116 is a more aggressive cleaner, both in the gas tank and in the crankcase. If you’re interested in a “Jack-of-all-trades” type product like SeaFoam from Berryman, we offer B-12 Motor Tune-Up (part #0316), which contains solvents and petroleum oils similar to Seafoam, as well as detergents and fuel stabilizers.
However, if you want application-specific solutions, we have quite a robust line of products. For a top-quality, detergent-based product for your gas tank, try B-12 Chemtool Total Fuel System Clean-Up (part #2616) for thorough cleaning of injectors, intake valves, and even combustion chambers. For thorough combustion chamber cleaning by way of manifold vacuum induction through either the PCV valve or the brake booster, then try Berryman B-12 Chemtool Total Combustion Cleaning Kit (part #2610). For gentle cleaning of the crankcase, try our new Berryman Oil Change Flush (part #1216)
