I have a gallon of your Chem-Dip Carburetor cleaner. When should I replace the product or is there a way to filter it for further use? I've cleaned about 15 Small Engine Carbs since I bought the product a couple of years ago.

We offer two different varieties of CHEM-DIP, our consumer-friendly version in the 1-gallon paint can (part #0996) and our professional-strength version in the 6-gallon bucket (part #0905). With 0996, filtering can be done through many different types of media, including a coffee filters, cheese cloth, an old (but clean) t-shirt, etc. If the effectiveness has begun to diminish, it’s probably time to replace the product.
Regarding 0905, filtering is not recommend. If the product is less than about 5 years old and the efficacy could use a boost or the volume in the can has dropped due to evaporation, then you can add a gallon of fresh product (part #0901) to revitalize it and increase the volume.
