Transmission?? I am going to change my fluid and filter in my 1977 Chev pick up. It is very dirty is it OK to put a can of Berryman's 15 oz in it and run it first??

While not an approved application, Berryman B-12 Chemtool Fuel Treatment (part #0116) has been successfully used as a transmission cleaner immediately before a fluid and filter change. If you choose to proceed, only add B-12 to cold ATF. Allow the product to mix in for a minute or two while in park. Then gently drive the truck only enough to shift through all the gears. Drain the mixture after a total of 15-20 minutes.
