In an answer to a previous question you stated the "product should stay fluid for the life of the tire."
But, when I called your (800) number, I was told that the shelf life of the product is 5 yrs (unopened) or 2 yrs (after the container's seal had been broken).
So, does this mean you consider the life of the tire 2 yrs? Can you define what is your assumption on life of the tire?

Once inside the tire, the sealant should be useful nearly on an indefinite scale--thus exceeding the practical life of the tire. The reasons for this include the low volatility of the ingredients (especially within a pressurized system like an inflated tire or tube) as well as the long-lived nature and resistance to degradation and decomposition of the active ingredients.
Tire sealant was the first product manufactured by Berryman, and we are proud of its history, longevity, and performance. We encourage you to try Tire Seal-R and feel you will be quite pleased with your purchase.
