I have a can of #0905 Chem-Dip that has seen quite a bit of use. It calls for #0901 to use to perk it up for longer life. My local supplier currently has the #0101 in stock. Can I use it?

NO! The formulas are completely different and should not be substituted for each other. #0901 and #0905 are acid and non-flammable chlorinated solvent-based products used only for soaking parts IN and are packaged under the name B-9 CHEM-DIP. #0101 B-12 CHEMTOOL is highly flammable, High Energy Solvent Technology that is designed to be applied TO a surface or added to the fuel tank for cleaning. CHEM-DIP should never be added to fuel or sprayed or wiped on a surface to clean it.
