I have removed the valves from the head and they are ready to be cleaned. But the deposits on the valves are as hard as cement!! Will Chem Dip  work to remove these hardened deposits? If not, is there a product that will work? Also, is Chem Dip safe on all metals? I don't want to risk damaging the machined surfaces of the valves. Thanks, Fred

Berryman offers two varieties of Chem-Dip. Our Chem-Dip in the 1-gallon paint can (part #0996) is safe on most plastic, rubber, and painted parts but not as effective on gum, varnish, and hard carbon. Our Professional Chem-Dip in the 5-gallon bucket (part #0905) is very effective on gum, varnish, and hard carbon; it’s just not safe on many plastic, rubber, and painted parts components.
